By submitting a written booking order, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a contract with Panama Turismo S.A. The contract is formed when it is accepted and confirmed by Panama Turismo S.A. or an authorised representative.

A deposit of 50% of the total price is due when the contract is concluded and must be paid no later than seven days after receipt of the written contract. The remaining balance is due 50 days before travel. Late or non-payment is treated as withdrawal and permits the accommodation to be offered elsewhere.

The contract is concluded in the name and for the account of the owner. It applies to the confirmed period and maximum number of guests. If more people arrive than registered, the contract may be terminated; the agreed amount remains payable.

Accommodation is normally available from 1:00 pm and must be vacated by 10:00 am on departure day. Variations are possible by prior agreement and subject to availability.

Force majeure events include, in particular, strikes, war, earthquakes, locally customary power and water outages, and severe weather. If use is impossible and no replacement can be arranged, liability is limited to the agreed final payment less expenses incurred. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

Guests should inspect the inventory on arrival and report defects within 24 hours so that they can be remedied. Other complaints must be reported immediately to the owner or manager. Damage caused during the stay must be reported and compensated in accordance with applicable rules.

Cancellations must be made in writing; the date of receipt is decisive. The following cancellation fees apply:

• up to 71 days before travel: 25% of the rental price, minimum USD 52
• 70 to 51 days: 50%
• 50 to 31 days: 70%
• 30 to 1 day: 90%
• on the day of travel or no-show: 95%
• handling fee: USD 52

A substitute traveller may be accepted by agreement on the same travel conditions.
